The Windows series (1971-1978) is considered by some as being her most important works, where the artist created small squares with diagonal, horizontal, or vertical lines, depicting a misty abstract scene, and where the artist’s interest in color study and experimenting with oil transparency shines through. The Windows series would lead to her winning First Prize in the National Artists Salon of Bogota in 1978.
